Book Talk with Tricia Brown

I know this is very sudden.  Students, under the direction of Lori Hagans, will be performing this Friday, December 12, at the Columbia Care Center in Scappoose.  This is a community service activity for this quarter and we look forward to sharing the holiday spirit through scripture and song with the residents.  We are in need of drivers.  We need your help.  Please take a moment to review the permission slip and sign and return as soon as possible.  Thank you.

Hello all!  I wanted to update you on a couple of upcoming events.  Students should expect a memory verse test tomorrow over lesson four and Grades 3-4 students will have a Bible Unit Test.  You can help your child prepare by reviewing the study guide (click the link).

Also, I want to share with you that this Friday we will have the Portland Adventist Academy (a senior high school) on campus giving a musical performance.  Come and hear this ensemble group sing and play live from 11:15 until school dismissal.

The night before last, I came across a parenting article offered by Scholastic.  What interested me was not the fact that it was  an article for parents, but an article on how to help your child with test anxiety.  As we are gearing up for some testing next week, students and parents may find some helpful tips as you prepare for Tuesday!
